January was definitely month of changes. I have secured some traffic sources. Wrote some good reviews. Changed blog layout, now it’s running on Genesis Framework and looks much better than before. And also, organized Amazon Gift Card Giveaway, which was brilliant idea. Thanks to this contest Rich Blogger Facebook fanpage grow from 2 fans to over 386 at the moment of writing this post in just 16 days. Number of Twitter followers has grown to 1276. It was best invested $20 so far. At the end of February I will organize for sure next 2x bigger giveaway.

AdSense – $0
HubPages – $0.02

This gives $62.42 (-$33,49).
January important posts
Right now I’m still working on platform for bloggers Blog Promo List. More about this project you can read in my Income Report for December 2012. I’m currently recruiting bloggers for beta testing. In February open beta of this platform will be released.
My hosting comparison site project is moving very slowly forward, now I’m focusing on SEO part of this project.
Project of ebook about copywriting is ready, proofread, cover is done, just need to put it all together and publish.
I have turned off InfoLinks and other on site CPV, CPC advertisement. Maybe I will enable AdWords in content but I need to think about it. Reason Why I have done so is very simple. Because InfoLinks are basically links in content, readers staying on site wasn’t moving around much. It caused big Bounce Rate and users irritation because of similarity with internal links. For sure this program has big potential, just not jet, not at this stage of blog development. For now I suppose better way is to write good reviews to get affiliate sales and enable AdWords which is less confusing for my readers.
And that’s all what happened in January 2013, hope you enjoyed this post! Please feel free to leave me a comment here if you have any thoughts about my new income report.
