Interview with STEFAN PYLARINOS from Project Life Mastery

This interview starts a series of interviews with inspiring Internet entrepreneurs. Each of them has his success story and it’s really worth to know how they started and what brought them into the place of being authority.

Few words for the beggining. Stefan is really inspiring person. I found out about him looking for some good motivational videos on youtube. And it was amazing, his video My Morning Ritual – How To Be Productive, Happy & Healthy Everyday which received 171135 views really motivated me and also changed my perspective and how I was looking at myself. Please introduce yourself, who you are, what are you doing?

First I want to thank you, Kamil, for this opportunity to be featured on The Rich Blogger.

My name is Stefan Pylarinos and I’m an internet marketer, blogger, and world traveller that has a passion for self-development and transforming lives. I created my blog, Project Life Mastery, as a way to share what I was doing, while inspiring others and making a difference through many of the things I’ve been privileged to have learned throughout the years that have contributed to my success and lifestyle.

What is inspiring you?

I’m inspired by growing and giving. I’m constantly hungry to raise my standards and be the best that I can be, while contributing to others. I believe that growth and contribution are what creates fulfillment long-term, and I’ve committed my purpose to that. I’m also inspired by anyone else that is overcoming obstacles, defying the odds, and raising their standards to live a better quality of life.

What was the beginning? How have you started?

I started with internet marketing back in 2009. I was running a coaching and seminar business in Vancouver, BC and while I was making a difference in the lives of others, I was struggling financially. I didn’t have a clue about business and neither did my business partners. We made many mistakes and learned things the hard way. At the time, I was living in my friends living room as a way to be able to save money and get myself out of debt. Thankfully, I was blessed to have discovered a bit about internet marketing and finally hit a threshold where I decided that I’d do whatever it took to make a passive income of at least $300/month. For me at the time, $300 was a lot of money and would help me to be able to get my own apartment.

I decided the way I was going to make it happen was to move to live in Thailand and Southeast Asia for 3 months, as a way to save money while pursuing this goal of $300/month without any distractions. I told myself, “I’m not coming home until I reach this goal.” And during that time, I worked my ass off and was able to reach that goal with a website I created at the time. Since then, things skyrocketed and I created many more websites and discovered many new ways to make money online.

Do you remember any breakthrough in your business? What was that? 

I’ve had many big breakthroughs, but one that stands out for me was making sure that I don’t depend on one source of income. I’ve had challenges in the past where something unexpected happened in one of my businesses and it affected my financial security. It was primarily because I would depend on one source of traffic or one website/product, and suddenly the market can change or something can happen out of your control. Today I have learned my lesson the hard way and have now built my businesses to last and don’t depend on a single stream of traffic or a single type of marketing. I’m well diversified, and I wish I had this breakthrough sooner.

How is your business working now? Is it profitable?

Business is great, and definitely profitable. I was able to make more than I’ve ever made before in my previous business or job, while working far less. In 2011-2012, I was able to step away from my other business and my passive income was able to support me fully without working. I had achieved financial freedom at the age of 25, where my passive income had exceeded my expenses. I literally was in a position where I never had to work again if I didn’t want to. Today, I work because I WANT to, not because I have to. It’s amazing to have that kind of freedom.

I have heard that you are working on a book, could you tell us more about that?

I’m working on a product, not specifically a book. Most of my blog, Project Life Mastery, is a way for me to share the things that I’m doing, and most likely the product will be surrounding the topic of how to make passive income online. I currently do life coaching through my blog and have several clients that I coach to make money online, and get questions about it everyday through e-mail. I can’t share too much more about it, but I’ll be releasing details soon on my blog. I also prefer video over books, as it allows me to connect with my audience better and I’ve been able to build an amazing following on YouTube already.

What are current projects you are working on? When we can expect “next big step”?

I’m currently working on releasing an internet marketing product of how I make passive income online, as well as continuing to build Project Life Mastery and releasing videos and content on there to transform the lives of others. I have several products that I currently continue to work on, including Clickbank products, affiliate marketing, Kindle books, and my life coaching. My vision is to be able to have products to help people in each area of life, including fitness, health, internet marketing, relationships, self-esteem and confidence, etc…
